Have you ever wonder how your baby would look like? I do! And since TS and I are so not ready to have kids yet, I relied on online baby maker to give me an idea of how our baby will look like. If it turns out to be cute, then I might be inspired to produce one. If not, then I would not dare try. Tristan Josh turned out to be a chubby little fella. It must be a product of his mom’s appetite. With those satellite ears, he’s just like his Uncle Linus and his cousin - Kendrick! Now, where are his dad’s features?
Tell me what do you think of the baby in the picture. I would appreciate honesty. Negative feedbacks are welcome. Don’t worry, I won’t take offense besides it’s just a virtual baby not our real one.
If you also would like to see your potential baby, then try it out yourself!
Mickey Mouse celebrated his 80th birthday yesterday - November 18. He is a comic animal cartoon character which became the icon of The Walt Disney Company. Mickey Mouse was created in 1928 by Walt Disney and Ub Iwerks and voiced by Walt Disney himself.
Mickey first appeared on the silver screen in 1928’s “Steamboat Willie”, where his profile and personality were a lot more rat-like than the lovable mouse of today.
In the following years, Mickey stayed busy, starring in feature films and on television, enjoying a cult following through the Mickey Mouse Club and overseeing the development of the Disney brand. He also had a long-running romance with Minnie.
Walt Disney created Mickey during a difficult time, when he was the head of a small, struggling studio.
The enduring success of the little mouse changed all that and made Walt Disney a household name.

Some people like to go to the Alps to experience the heights and enjoy rush of adrenaline as they go slide with their skis or boards. Other people prefer to lay on the beach under the sun to relax themselves. Some would want to lay back and enjoy gazing at the stars at night. While there are others who prefer to hunt and enjoy the primitive camping in the boonies with friends while keeping a close eye on their game species.
We are all different in so many ways and it applies to what we enjoyed doing and what we prefer doing. For those people who enjoy hunting, November 8 has already been marked in their calendar for the start of the Open Season for Deer Hunting. Hunting surely stirs the curiosity of those who doesn’t take part of it like myself. Why would anyone (about half a million in Minnesota) sit for hours in a chilly duck blind? And what’s the thrill in trying to kill an animal anyway?
I am not a natural writer and I have disclosed that when I started this blog seven months ago. Blogging is an enjoyable pastime but as it turned out it has become a career to some including myself. Every post I write is my attempt to become a creative writer like my fellow bloggers. The pressure is always there. It takes time and a lot of effort to come up with something that will catch the readers interest and attention. For someone who is not born with the talent (of writing), the time is extended and the effort is doubled. There are times that the creative juices of writing stops flowing that no matter how I squeezed my brain nothing would seem to come out. My remedy? I don’t blog.
When I’m not blogging, I am somewhere with my virtual character - Meikue partaking epic adventures across exotic lands. I meet new friends and hang out with them and most especially I give Full Support to Travis’ character as we battle creatures and Demons to bring back the peace and that our people can once again continue to live and be safe, without the fear of being killed and even turned by the walking dead. Playing through the Chaos server, I became part of the Interational Ragnarok Online (IRO).
How about you? What do you do when you’re not blogging?
One of the best things in the morning is waking up to the chirping sounds of the birds. Birds tippy-toeing on my patio are a delight to my sight. Inviting them to stay and visit more often is challenging but I should say a rewarding pastime. One day, I scattered bread crumbs all over my patio floors just to attract them and encourage them for more visits. Such technique works and at least 6 of them were enjoying the free feast.
In the wintertime, food can be hard for birds to find, especially smaller birds like chickadees or finches. So I decided to buy a Bird Feeder for my feathered friends. Providing a bird feeder allows them to survive the bitter cold and food-poor season, and is a great act of charity on my part, as well.
I will be setting up my Bird Feeder first thing in the morning. This is my other way to commune with nature and provide sustenance to the avian population in my area. I’m so excited to see how many dinner guests are coming.

The Vikings and the Saints certainly entertained fans in the stand and in the couches for close to three and a half hours of Monday Night Football. And when all the action stopped and the clock finally showed 00:00, the Vikings came out a 30-27 road winner.
It wasn’t a smooth win for the Vikings. The Saints had their home field advantage with a raucous Louisiana Superdome crowd. The absense of E. J. Henderson who is one of my favorite defensive player hurts the team. The Saints made the first touchdown of the game. But the Vikings didn’t give up so easily and they manage to overcome all the negative energy. Even the impressive Saints passing game with the hot hands of Brees and the riveting performance of Mr. Bush did not stop the Vikings from notching their second victory of the season and their first road win of the 2008 campaign.
Travis decided to turn the radio on to break the silence when we were driving back home from Fergus Falls after attending Dad and Sandi’s Reception. When the Spice Girls’ Wanna Be song played, I recalled that it was my first casette tape ever purchased having The Moffatts Chapter I: A New Beginning album being the second. Now it gets me to wonder, what happened to The Moffatts?
When I asked my walking google (Travis) about it, he couldn’t give me an answer. He doesn’t even know the band nor their songs. Even the mention of the Hanson brothers being their similar group or I should say rival group at that time doesn’t ring a bell to him. I can’t believe that the group The Moffatts which was very popular in the Philippines back in the late 90’s is unheard of here in the US.

Frerotte To Lead the Charge
I have been following the Minnesota Vikings in their quest for victory for the National Football Leauge (NFL) of 2008. Unfortunately, they have been unsuccessful on their first two games against the Green Bay Packers and the Indianapolis Colts.
Last Sunday’s game against the Colts has left an unsettling feeling. They have started well with a 15 point lead and an incredibly strong field position. But not until Peyton Manning (Colts’ QB) picked up his momentum and find his rhythm at the right time… yes shortly after the half-time. Then things began to turn sour with the Vikings. They kept kicking field goals (and missed some) when they have a strong field position. They were able to run everywhere but inside the 20. Having this kind of performance, we have very little reason to think that they can squeeze out victory against the opponents that they have to beat if they are serious in competing at the Divisional not to mention the Conference, Championship.
The Minnesota State Fair ‘08 popularly known as the Great Minnesota Get-Together has culminated last Labor Day Monday. My first experience of being in such a huge event was in no doubt stupendous. The State Fair hosts a lot of activities for fun and enjoyment for people of all ages.
Travis and I left home at around 9am and drove to the Co. Rd. 73 Park and Ride (Transit Center). From there we took the bus that brought us in the front gate of the Fairgrounds. We started to explore what the Fair has to offer and we sat down for awhile in the Rodeo Arena watching people showing off their calves and cows for judging. While I was there, all I could think of is how tasty their meat must be. I was hungry and before I turned crazy, we decided to leave the arena.
