Things have been pretty busy with me for the past weeks since that week of Thanksgiving. I had a very wonderful time with my sister-Rosarie visiting us here in Jacksonville. Each moment was precious. From cooking breakfast with her to St. John’s Town Center to simply laying in bed talking about anything and everything… it was just amazing being reconnected to my sister again. Now I get to realize the great and wonderful feeling to have someone to share everything with. With her being around, I get to put make-up on my face once again, dressing up nicely and being confident. But most of all, showing off my cooking skills was the big part of it. hehehe! The three-day period of us being together was short but it was definitely worth it. I am looking forward to spending more time with her. When she left, all that’s left was me and Travis. The condo seemed quiet and the stillness of the place is very much nnoticeable. Of course, I have no one to giggle with as we all know TS is a serious person. I have been up for 24hrs yesterday since on my time of retirement after watching Transformers on the dvd, mom and Alan came home and as expected, we had long chitchat.  I finally got the chance to rest in the arms of Morpheus at about 8am and as soon as my back touched the bed, I was totally blacked out.  It was not until 7:30 when I woke up and thought that I slept for 24hrs coz that sleep felt like forever.  On the contrary, it was 7:30 in the evening. One of my daily tasks that I claimed to do is checking the mailbox.  I love checking the mailbox, not because I’m expecting something to arrive but because I simply like surprises and a tiny bit of hope is there which I’m not sure why it existed.  Even the fact of receiving a chain letter from my “aunt in law in law” *(my own term for Travis’ uncle’s wife) means so much to me.  Except that I didn’t comply it, as per suggestion from my hubby.  Shhh! Thou shall not say anything… ‘coz if I’d do the chain letter, you will definitely be one of those who will get it.  You don’t like receiving such a silly responsibility, do you? hehehe! A Tribute to the soul of COSAP…

Saying goodbye to someone who has made such a huge impact in our lives is difficult.  But if we look back on the good things he has done and the best times we spent together, the pain could not compensate the degree of happiness we felt… that for once in our lives, our paths crossed and he has definitely left footprints in our hearts.

Tito Oskie (Mabilog), you will always be remembered and your memories will always stay.  You are like a father to me and because of you, I met a lot of people that I call friends.  When I look back to what I was and what I have become, it is you and your encouragement that shines through those times.  You have molded me into a better person.  You inspire me not to be selfish but to give myself to others.  You and your words, thoughts, actions and yes your memories will always make a difference… in my life and in the lives of the other people.  Paalam, Tito Oskie!

Yesterday, I got a lovely postcard from Greece.  It was a lovely postcard no doubt.  But what I love about it the most is the thought and the message written at the back of it.  It gave me a fuzzy feeling when I got it.  It’s nice to know that you are thought of while they are enjoying their holiday.
Mami, this is my way of saying thanks to you.  You must be surprised seeing the picture.  Those were the days mami.  Although lain pa kaayo tag mga nawong diha, but I treasure such experience with you.  Thank you so much for the friendship.  You know that I always treasure it no matter how many more friends we got, you’re still the one on top!  I love you, Mami Posh!

i have been with multiply for 3 years now.  at first this was just a place for me to store my pictures in case our pc would break loose but things change at the course of time.  i meet new friends, acquaintances and got in touch with old ones too.  everyone in my contact list seemed very interesting and they have got their stories to tell and it’s always nice to know that these people who live in far distance from you, share common interests with you.

The other day i got a call from one of my multiply contact – Ate Anna.  we have been planning to meet each other after that trip they made here in Florida.  we have also been talking a lot on the phone, sharing giggles and exchanging teases too.  we had so much fun phoneline and online that we decided it would be nice to finally meet up in person.  And this was definitely the time!
