In our recent days, we seemed to be living in a fast-food age and the condition of our skin is often neglected. So it is necessary for us to have a skin care program that will guide us living a healthy lifestyle and routine with a combination of skin care products that will be beneficial to our skin. First, we need to consider our diet and lifestyle since these two played a very important role in the health of our skin.
Feed and nourish your skin by eating the proper foods. You can’t beat the good old fruit and vegetable diet when it comes to good health and good complexion. Give your skin a drink too. The ideal amount of water intake is at least 8 glasses a day. It is essential for your skin’s elasticity and suppleness. Don’t count coffee or caffeinated soda as part of your 8 glasses since caffeine is dehydrating.

“I long to accomplish a great and noble task,
but it is my chief duty to accomplish small
tasks as if they were great and noble.”
- Helen Keller
I just thought I’d share to you some thoughts to ponder. This is what struck me today. I ask myself, what is great and noble? Having a successful career is not just my measure of greatness and nobility. For me it is sacrificing little things to make other people more comfortable. You don’t need to do or make big things to become great. It is the little things that build up together to make great things happen.

Blogging has become popular in the late 90′s. It was not until this year when I started to jump into the bandwagon of blogging. Most of us bloggers take pride of our blog posts, even if it is not read by a lot of people. It is our way to communicate and bring something out of our minds if not chest. It has become our way of life and our aid in expressing ourselves as we reflect in our day to day living.
Some blogs have become popular and the mainstream. Even big companies indulge in blogging as well. But what are the essentials of blogging and how do we make our own blog stand out among the rest?
We typically start with free blogging service like Blogger and WordPress. But to establish yourself in this fast pace world of blogging, it is ideal to have your own domain which will reflect the content of your blog and perhaps for good memory recall. I also would advise strongly to host ones website personally and not just rely on free services. Hosting ones own domain with give you a total control of your content, advertisements and even the amount of space you want to allocate in it.
If you decide to web host your site, it is best to know the company and the service it is providing. There are things that you need know and avoid when you decide to host your blog. You can find these information by checking out webhosting blog, customer reviews and the awards and recognition that particular company receives. There are lots of site that provide this but most of them are not as reliable as the Web Hosting Geeks. They provide unbiased reviews of each web hosting companies. Their blog is a good source of information. The articles in it cover a wide range of topics like Web Hosting, Web Development, Web Design, Domain Names, Search Engines and Site Promotion.
If you’re ready to stand out among others, check out

Taking a nice warm bath after a long day is just perfect! It makes you relax and give you some quiet and peaceful time. The bathtub is the most common place where we would always go to unwind from all the activities of the day. Setting the ambiance with scented candles and even adding bubbles or petals will make the experience more than just cleansing the body.
I have been wishing to have a nice warm bath since we moved in. But one thing is stopping me, our bath tub has got a stubborn gray stain. It is actually not bad and it may be tolerable for others but not for me. Before I can enjoy a romantic and or relaxing ambiance, I have to put my cleaning gloves on and deal with it first.

Yesterday, I was listening to the radio with Christmas songs playing all day long. Although our apartment is still bare and empty, I can feel the Christmas spirit already especially that the drop of temperature is usually associated with Holiday season. Our dinner was inspired by the said spirit. I cooked what I usually prepare on Christmas Eve – Bacon Chicken Spaghetti in Alfredo Sauce. Travis loves it!
The Holiday feeling remains even when we are about to retire for the night. To satisfy myself and get this Christmas thoughts over with, I went online to window shop for Christmas Decorations and even Christmas gifts. I fingertips brought me everywhere and jumping from one site to another, I could not remember which site has the item that I wanted to buy.
Then a blessing came, SHOP.COM! The website contains a consolation of the best collection of the stores, brands and products at the best prices. That means you don’t need to go to Target.com and to Ace Hardware separately to check or buy products. So, it is a one-stop convenient shopping place. I was able to compare similar products from various stores and pick out the best price in just one site. Aside from getting best prices, customers can get more savings with coupons. And the best part is, there are even free shipping offers!
I was delighted to come across this site. That is why I’m sharing this with you. It is like shopping in the stores without leaving the comfort of my home. Right now, I’m on the site browsing for my Christmas decorations since I’m skipping the Thanksgiving decor this year. This is just amazing!

Mothers have often clipped baby’s locks to save, and we spend countless fortunes on products and styling, but the idea of working hair into jewelry often repels the modern culture. Not so in an earlier time. Born from the practices of of England’s Queen Victoria, making personal keepsakes such as watch fobs, pins and bracelets from a deceased loved one’s hair was common.
Those who visit R. I. P. – Victorian Mourning Customs at the Center for History in South Bend, Ind. will see a collection of those keepsakes, including a crica- 1870 hair wreath. Victorians had strict rules regarding mourning, which often lasted for months, and late 19th-century clothing reflected the practices. So, representative black bonnets, a mourning cape and black dresses are on view as well.
Rarer items include an 1845 wooden tombstone; coffin plates, small decorative markers that were removed from the coffin and given to the family; and remembrances captured by a new technology at the time, photography.

Migrating from the Philippines to here in the US of A is a life-changing event. Back home, I am more reluctant to do the chores and I don’t cook at all. My marriage with Travis has transformed me to a better person I should say. I take responsibility of the things around the house. I am not lazy but I am addicted to keeping the house tidy. I love to cook and I spend enough time planning for the day’s meal. This is my life-changing journey.

On the other hand, looks like Air New Zealand is gearing up for a total transformation. Heads up because they have changed the typical style of advertising. Would you be interested to be one of the 30 cranial billboards? These individuals will be shaved and tattooed as part of the marketing campaign of Air New Zealand’s life-changing journey to New Zealand. How’s my brother-in-law Christian for a contender? What better way to advertise than to make use of those “head-turning” looks of bald heads with tattoes. If you want to become part of it, visit www.airnewzealand.com. Check also the site to plan a life-changing journey to the land of Frodo Baggins. New Zealand being the youngest country on earth promises a developing economy side by side with untouched nature. No wonder many people have been planning to visit there and even more are migrating. That is a life-changing decision to make and mind you, we might consider it.

I am not a natural writer and I have disclosed that when I started this blog seven months ago. Blogging is an enjoyable pastime but as it turned out it has become a career to some including myself. Every post I write is my attempt to become a creative writer like my fellow bloggers. The pressure is always there. It takes time and a lot of effort to come up with something that will catch the readers interest and attention. For someone who is not born with the talent (of writing), the time is extended and the effort is doubled. There are times that the creative juices of writing stops flowing that no matter how I squeezed my brain nothing would seem to come out. My remedy? I don’t blog.

When I’m not blogging, I am somewhere with my virtual character – Meikue partaking epic adventures across exotic lands. I meet new friends and hang out with them and most especially I give Full Support to Travis’ character as we battle creatures and Demons to bring back the peace and that our people can once again continue to live and be safe, without the fear of being killed and even turned by the walking dead. Playing through the Chaos server, I became part of the Interational Ragnarok Online (IRO).
How about you? What do you do when you’re not blogging?
