A Gift from an Angel
I woke up one morning and stayed in bed wide awake staring at the ceiling asking myself what’s in store for me this day. All of a sudden, my buzzer went on and there’s my answer. “I have a package for you”, was all I can hear from the postlady on the other end. I was not expecting any parcel to arrive this early. I did make a few online purchases some days ago but their delivery date does not come near to this day. Unlike the UPS and other delivery guys, the postlady prefer that I’d meet her in the Great Hall. It was not too much to ask and I needed my daily exercise too, so I rushed towards the Hall and got a pretty good size package.
I was inspecting the parcel and checking where would it come from and I could not believe what my eyes saw. It came from Irene Gayton. She is my sister Madon’s friend. And although I haven’t met her and only get to chat with her once, she is already like a sister to me. She is definitely an angel to our family. She’s there for Madon on times that we couldn’t be there for her due to our physical distance from her. When our brother was there to visit, she did not hesitate on sparing some time to tour Manoy around and brought him to the monastery and other places. Me and my family are definitely grateful to have known such a wonderful person with a good and kind heart.
When I opened the package, I found a card with a nice dedication and a leather jacket that’s just right for me. I am very thankful and the following day, I wore it when TS and I went out to buy some stuff.

Thank you for being the wonderful person that you are. We are so blessed to have someone as kind and as genuine as you in our lives. May these blessings that you shared to us return to you seven times fold. God bless you and always remember that we are here for you.

You look great with your new jacket . You will not get frozen when you go out. Ohh geeee , I have alot of winter clothes from her and a leather jacket too. Thanks from my fairy God Mother my hubby don’t need to buy me winter clothes.
