A New Look

June18

I have decided to get a new look without changing my hair and clothes. As you might have noticed, I changed the theme on my site. It is a theme called “Flawless Imperfection” by Colleen Chard. I am very much impressed of the neat layout and design which features my favorite butterflies and not much else. The name of the theme is inspired by this quote, “Better to do something imperfectly than to do nothing flawlessly. – Robert Schuller”.

Finally, I was able to sort my blogroll and links. Of course, I have included the pages of my favorite people who never failed to visit my site and leave a comment. If you want to be included in the list or if I missed you out and want your site to be linked, just leave me a comment below and I’ll make sure to add you. I don’t need to know you to be included in the link, a brief introduction will do.

I hope you like it and please feel at home on my site. Do come again!

    Jacy,
I noticed the different theme last night. It does suit you, simple and
sweet. And you have your siggy on your page again. I put the
one you made me at the bottom of all my themes. Had one ripped
off recently. A number of theme authors have had themes ripped off.

Hope you are having a good day today. You are in my thoughts
    and prayers.

    hello ate Jenn!
thanks for that ego-booster. i started reading about designing blog templates last year but then i just forget about putting it into actions. i have to go back and study it again. every templates are different. like yours for example since you’re using blogger.
but hey! you are talented and can do the things that i do. you should at least experiment on designing your site.

    Jacy,
I hope you find your own place and can get back on
your own computer soon. I would be going nuts
if I couldn’t be designing. Not like I make a theme
every day but I do mess around with different things
in the css to see what does what. I have learned a
lot just doing that. Now I am working with transparencies
and padding. The trasparent theme is driving me bonkers.
The padding is beginning to make some sense. Now
I know how to tweak things so I can move the body
or divownernav or whatever where I want it. It took
me a whole afternoon to tweak a footer for avlack
but i did it and with no help. just kept looking for
codes that would help and getting stuff from here
and there. it ended up me just doing it lol.

my bro took me out for lunch so it was nice to
see him again. he’s been laying low for the past
month cuz he had so much going on.

    Deb,
I know you can do it on your own. I have trust in you long before.
I thought I would go nuts without designing. But I managed it.
I can’t wait to go back to designing. I miss it too.
I know I have a lot of catching up to do. I’m not worried coz you are there to keep me updated, right?

Send my greetings to your bro. Until we see each other and have lunch together someday!

    Jacy,

Will do. I wil tell my brother you said hi. It was nice to spend some
time with him. I have a favor to ask of you. When you get back
to your own computer and you have time and you are able, will
you please make me another siggy. Just like the first one made me,
only black bg and white font color. I’m asking because I have
been into doing black themes recently and my siggy shows
up funny looking on a black bg.

your theme captures the very essence of your site. You can’t be simplyjacy if you’re not effortlessly and genuinely simple. I like the pale mint gree background…and I couldn’t think of a better color for the butterfly too. Congratulations Momita!

    jacy,
thanks i appreciate it. but you don’t have to do it now.
when you are able. it’s hard when you don’t have your
own computer. i tried making something in gimp
but i couldnt’ come up with anything that i liked
or looked good for what i wanted it for.

    Jacy,
We can’t do anything right now. The Css box is messed up again.
People’s pages have part of banners, headers and footers. The
validator is adding spaces I did not put there and taking out code
I put in. This thing has been nothing but a pain in the neck. Plus
when they put it in, they all of a sudden made obsolete hundreds
of themes that were perfectly good. We are waiting for them to
fix it. Maybe they should get someone who knows what they
    are doing.

Deb who is bored and angry.

    Deb,
I haven’t been following the updates of Multiply. I know that they are doing these to give us better service. Unfortunately, it turned out otherwise. Anyway, let’s just hope and wait for them to fix things. If not, we’ll just have to move on.
