Going Back to Basic
I have gotten used to the convenience of the washer and drier. But trust me, I came into a challenge when we started to live in an apartment where the unit doesn’t have its own but is shared by all the units in the same level.
It wasn’t bad at all. I have learned to adapt the set-up until the obsessive-compulsive side of me surfaced. I took pride in doing laundry. That is because I make sure that whatever comes out of the dryer would not only smell fresh but absolutely clean. I am very particular with whites. I made sure that whites are pre-soaked overnight… if not with bleach at least with Oxi-Clean. I want them to come out bright and spotless. But not having the washer/dryer to ourselves brought a little concern this time. I can’t soak the whites in the washer for someone might want to do the laundry before I do. I made some thinking…
Then I came up with the idea of going back to basic. I grabbed our laundry container and emptied it. I sorted the clothes-separating the colored from the whites. I then put enough scoops of Oxi-Clean and dump enough hot water in it. Then I soaked the whites and made an effortful stir and left it overnight.
Going back to basic isn’t that bad at all. Until…

Hi Ate Jacy Faith poh anak gud sa akong mama ann hehehe kadtong kulit na mama… hahaha add ko dinhi beh please??????

hello mama!
yes it is kinda similar to having a dishwasher and believe me moving in this apartment has really made me gone back to basic. this unit doesn’t have dishwasher. that’s the reason we are moving out of here and find a better place. requirement: dishwasher!
it’s so difficult not to have dishwasher. i have been doing dishes by hand since we moved here. dishwashers needs to be taken cared of. in my case, i would always try to get the remnants off the plate before i put it in the dishwasher. and they all come out clean. and i should say sterilize when you use the hot cycle.
when you have your dishwasher, you will definitely love it! you will have more time for yourself and family.

hi sis,
i have been thinking about you and i apologize for not getting here sooner. i have had a lot of trouble with allergies and sinus. was sick all last month. i’m feeling a bit better. we had a couple of days of rain that really helped me a lot. no pollen can fly around. but it’s very windy today and this same stuff is giving my bro a hard time too. both of us are getting very tired of being sick and tired lol.
i have missed you and i should have come sooner. please forgive me?
for quite awhile i didn’t feel well enough to do very much of anything. only in the past couple of days am i back to theme making. made a couple of new ones and fixed up
an old one. the banner and nav bar
were bothering me.
love and hugz
and thanks for stopping by.

i agree ate este, especially with socks? i won’t feel at peace if it comes out of the washer/dryer and it still has those dirty spots on them. that’s why i always try to soak them and for dirty socks, bleach them jud.

hello Wen!
what do you use to soak your whites? do you bleach them? i only bleach them when there are stubborn stains or bleeds. i usually soak them with Oxi-Clean.
maayo mo girl kay kanya-kanya mo ug hugas. i turned out to be the official dishwasher here in the apartment. but things will change next month. and i can’t wait.
i’ll add you too sweetie. hope to see you here more often.

Urgh, same here. Our dishwasher’s not working, so have to do it by hand.
There are water and energy efficient dishwashers in the market now. Sterilization wise, dishwashers works better than hand washing (unless ipa-air dry.)

hello herms!
it’s a pain in the butt without it no? i can’t wait to have one again. it just stresses me to see dirty dishes in the drain. sometimes i would just stay away from the kitchen if there are dishes to be done.
if i don’t do it, no one else will. huhuhu!

Hello Jacy! I think I am the person who’s very lazy when it comes doing the laundry and the dishes… Luckily, here in the US, there’s something that will help me do it – the washer, dyer and the dishwasher! hehehehe

hi sis,
i know how irritating this can be cuz i live in a 9-story highrise. we have 2 washers and dryers on each floor. it’s not too bad until someone leaves kleenex in their pockets or the person that washed before you used bleach. i have suggested before that one washer on each floor be designated as for “bleach only.” that way we could avoid having our clothes ruined. i’ve had it happen to brand new shirts and blouses and i wasn’t happy about it.
i learned a lesson today in expectations and what happens when we just assume. a long story so i don’t want to go into it. i have such a time with this one.
love and hugz

hello sis!
i got lucky with the other tenants since they always left the washers and dryers clean. i don’t have those bad experiences yet. i would be pissed if i get to be in that situation.
i already took note of your number and will call you one of these days. good night, sis! luv ya!
