rim white pearl 1 My First BlackberryI have been detached from a personal mobile device for more than a year now.  Last year, I just felt no need for one since I have my Voice Over Internet Provider (VOIP).  We had our VOIP disconnected this year when I left for the Netherlands.  When I came back, I started applying for jobs and recruiters would call me through Travis’ mobile.  It was okay at first when Travis didn’t have work yet.  But it is starting to be disappointing when Travis would get calls for me about jobs and I would only be able to call them back when TS is home from work which is usually when recruiters’ are out of the office as well.

Yesterday, we were both came into a decision that I need a phone.  He asked me if I wanted a mobile phone or we’d simply get another VOIP.  I weighed things and it turned out that I’m more inclined to get a mobile phone in case I might start a job, at least I have it with me all the time.  I first considered of having a prepaid phone.  Afterall, I won’t be using the phone that much unless I get calls or I need to call my prospect employers.

Travis had a better idea instead.  So, we drove to the mall and had a talk with a T-mobile representative.  He was honest and accommodating.  Travis decided to add me on his account and gave me his Blackberry Pearl 8100 White while he got himself a new T-mobile Dash a.k.a. HTC Excalibur.  It is very nice for a first phone.  I liked its features and the blackberry internet service.  It is very convenient for me.  I already got used to the two-touch keys of the QUERTY keyboard.  I have been playing with it today and I am liking it.  I will be making a review about it later on.

For now, it is time to say hello to my first Blackberry phone!

Haze, what part of ND are you from? Coz Travis’ cousin lives there.

hello Jacy! we live in Jamestown, ND near the Buffalo Museum. We live in exit 256 near the new Walmart Supercenter

Jacy

I haven’t gone to ND but who knows we might take a trip there too. TS’ cousin lives in Grand Forks. Do you know how far is it from where you are?

hi sis,

been busy today, messing with photos
and making a theme and uploading pics etc. hope you had a nice labor day. for the first time in years it wasn’t rainy and nasty and cold. hope we keep the hot weather for awhile yet. i so hate to see summer end.

Jacy

hello sis!

you are being productive i see. we were having nice weather indeed. but i guess not for long coz the forecast said we will be having rain this week. we’ll see…

hope we both have a good week regardless of the weather!

hi sis,
guess what? the weatherman doesn’t know everything lol. i like your wait and see cuz they are wrong a lot. lol
have a nice day. my 4 latest themes
are in my photos with the css if you want to see them. lots of big hugz for you

Jacy

you’re right sis! what they say right now may not necessarily be happening because weather is just too changeable.

i’ll go ahead and check on them in awhile.

sis,

especially because i live in michigan
and surrounded by the great lakes. and minnesota is kind of in the same
stream.

Jacy

hello sis!
they definitely nailed their forecast today coz it rained as predicted.
so, how are you doing?

lol i am fine. just finished a theme.
a cute, simple one.

Grand Forks is 149 miles from our town, Jamestown Jacy. That’s north of Fargo. I have been to Grand Forks last Halloween of 2007. We visited the University of ND and I did a little shopping for my winter clothes there too.

Jacy

i have never been to North Dakota.
i’ll let you know Haze if we get the chance to visit there.

natural fibers like wool are still the best for winter clothes-,-
