My First Day

Getting a job definitely changed my daily routine. Normally, I would wake up at 9:30 and stay in bed awake until 10:30 or even longer. Now that I have a job, I have to get up as early as 6:30 and no time to lay around. Once the alarm goes off, I have to lead my sleepy self and start getting myself ready.
My first day at work went out fine. Like most first days, me and the other 3 new faces in the office were given a tour and were oriented as to our job functions and how things are done around the place. We were assigned to our own working area and then we set-up our computer, email and network systems. We also did a few classes from the Learning Center. It was not stressful but rather relaxing and we worked at our own pace. The four of us bonded at lunch and we had a great time!
The rest of the afternoon was spent getting acquainted with the program that we will be using. It looks complicated but we are starting to get the hang of it. Just a couple more practice and I should be comfortable with it. Before we headed home, we marked our territory and my work place now has my name on it. Yikes!
I stayed in the office for an extra hour and spent it with my supervisor. She is super nice and considerate. When she learned that on January 12 – Monday will be our 3rd Wedding Anniversary, she told me that I can take that day off so I can spend it with TS. Not everyone gets a day off after just 1 day of work, right? So, this is indeed a blessing. When I go back to work on Tuesday, I’m gonna work harder and make sure she won’t regret that she gave me the day off. Wooohooo!

you are such one lucky girl jacy. you got a decent job even if the economy is down and lots of people got laid off. enjoy your job and life inday,samtang wala pay baby.
thanks Shy! i don’t think it is luck, i think it was a blessing from God jud Shy. you’re right, i have to enjoy life while wala pay baby. kay once it comes, mao naman nya sad na akong i-prioritize or i-career. hehehe!
Finally! I got to see and read your blog again girl Jacy! Ugh! I was sure worried and sad because I like reading and visitng your blog.. Congratulations girl Jacy! How nice! Finally you got a job. I wonder girl what’s the reason why you were not able to get into my site. But i’m glad you can now . Mao lagi, I am blessed that she gave me a day-off ka-usa pa gani ko katunga sa work. hehehe!

You are so right, Mina! God works in wonder. Imagine, I was suppose to turn down the job because I want to be with TS for our anniversary. The Lord has made it perfect for me. Praise the Lord!

Wow!! you must be very alert in the morning now..right girl?? gone were the days when I used to get up early…now I can sleep until noon..haha!! watch out my girl Jacy….you never know Ma’ might come by and evaluate you…that’s my part time job now!! I really love it..going to the bank to talk to the employees, asking all kinds of questions…never know that I am doing my job…hehe!! in my case Ma, gone were the days when I used to sleep until noon. hehehe! I know I have to do my best in the work that I do. Just incase Ma’rene will surprisingly come and evaluate me. Love you, Ma!

Lagi girl. I have been waiting for this opportunity. I’m enjoying it so far. I just have to manage my time wisely which I haven’t got the hang of yet. I’m sure in your end, daghan kaayo adjustments. But it’s all worth it jud. For the baby. have you started listing names?
