Springing to Reality

June4

Wow! I didn’t notice that it has been at least two months since my last post. I certainly owe everyone an apology for not updating my blog. I should have brought the laptop which belongs to Travis so I can easily do blogging at ease and do the usual stuff I work with even when I was in the Netherlands. Unfortunately, I didn’t do it so while I was gone, not only did I have to scramble against Windows 98 but I was also preoccupied.

There are lots of stories to tell but a person like me who has got a poor memory will have trouble what happened on which day. I will try as much as possible to recall those activities that I did and blog about them by the help of the few pictures that I took. In the next few days, I will be talking about them and also about my short 2 week vacation in Mexico.

Now that I’m back and springing back to reality, I will try to update my blog as much as I can. Thank you to all those friends who never fail to remember me. I treasure you dearly in my heart.

    Jacy,
I have missed you so terribly. For quite awhile
there wasn’t anything new in your blog and I
would go away disappointed so I didn’t bother
to come back for awhile. Please forgive me for
that because I see now that you have updated
your blog. I miss you so much on Multiply and
    so does everyone else.

You should see my newest themes sweety. I have made a lot of progress.

Are you not coming back to Multiply?

    hello Debbie!

don’t be sorry about it. it was my fault for not updating my blog and not bothering to post. i don’t have the internet connection when I was in Mexico. I’m back now and that’s what matters right? I have yet to update http://www.MultiplyThemes.com. Of course, I will be going back to Multiply but I have a lot of catching up to do.

I can’t wait to see your new themes. I will visit your site and check it out now. I miss you terribly and luv ya, Deb!

    Dear Jacy,

Oh yes about Multiply Themes. You will have
a whole bunch of themes from me that I fixed.
Scrap them. Since Multiply put the new Css
Validator in all of the old themes are no good!
You heard me. Squat. Nothing! We have all
been working on recoding old themes and making
new ones. Whatever I send you in the future will
be a validated theme. It was horrible when they
first put that thing in. It messed up all of
Multiply pretty badly for awhile. All is well
now. If you want help with this when you
return to Multiply let me know. I can give
you code for Shadow Box, Sandskrit and Avlack.
You can tweak them to your hearts content.

Yup I’ve branched out and am working with other bases. I finally got brave and attacked Red Frog, Sandskrit and Avlack. I hate Red Frog, made 1 theme with it which I also hate lol. But I have
the theme and can use it still in the future to make something else. I found out that I love
Sandskrit and Avlack. Tweaking the footers in those was something else. Shadow Box is so simple, never any problems.

    Deb,

I will message you in Multiply regarding the themes. I will verify it before I start approving them in MultiplyThemes.com.

While I was doing support for MultiplyThemes.com, I noticed the CSS Validator in Multiply. Some of my old theme doesn’t seem to work well anymore and I have to fix them. I will definitely need your help regarding these updates. I have no doubt I can count on you.

I can’t wait to see your new themes… I was just wondering, did you get the Photoshop CS3 CD that I sent to you? It was intended for your birthday and I had Travis mail it.

    Jacy,

The thing that’s not so cool about the validator
is that hundreds of themes were all of a sudden
obsolete, themes that were perfectly good. We’ve
had to recode a lot of our things. What I did
was I recoded my faves, let the rest go. There’s
    no way I’m redoing everything.

You said you were sending me something for my
birthday but I never got it! I am sorry to tell
you this. Maybe Travis was busy and forgot to
mail it. Oh well. Thank you anyway. I appreciate it.

If you want I could take a look at some of your themes, at least the Shadow Box ones. I won’t change anything, leave it exactly as you want it,
just fix the parts that don’t pass the validator.
I found out that as long as you don’t click on
the validator button, you can still use your old
themes. But if you want to submit them anywhere
then they have to be validated. It is taking care of a lot of mistakes though.

    Hugz

i am so sorry please delete it
    it’s your new beginning theme
only a couple of things that didn’t
pass. very easy. it validates now
cuz i put it through the validator

    Jacy,

Of course I’d like to have the Photoshop CS3. It would be awesome. Thanks ever so much for doing this for me. That is so sweet of you.

By the way, you can use your old themes on your page. You just can’t submit anything that doesn’t
pass the validator. At first nothing would work and I ended up redoing a whole theme from scratch. After that it got easier and the bugz in the thing
    were fixed too.

Off topic but I hate Skyline and I hate opacity!

thanks for the heads up Deb! i have not decided to redo my themes. i’ll leave them as is. if someone will report a problem with it, that’s the time I will mess with it.

I don’t like Skyline and I don’t like opacity too. i’m going to send you CS3 next week. just hang in there!

hope you’re having a good weekend!
