Viva La Revolution!
I have finally declared myself a revolutionary after witnessing the Eco Experience at the State Fair yesterday. It was a different experience. It has strengthen the environmentalist in me after it was awaken by my sister-Rorie‘s post entitled Environmentalist Forever! The Eco Experience was definitely a one place to stop and learn more about adapting a “greener” lifestyle. There are exhibits of lush rain gardens, a cutting-edge eco home, and displays on renewable energy, organic products and services.
Being a revolutionary, I commit myself to use a “green” bag (non-plastic and non-paper bags) when I go to stores. Bringing my own bag helps me avoid bringing garbage in my home in the form of plastic or paper. This way, I won’t be concern on how and where to dispose them. Although, I must admit I still have those plastic bags but I am reusing them as garbage liners and such.
There are more ways to help our environment. You can find more at www.reduce.org and be a revolutionary yourself. This is just my first step and will continue to live a “greener” lifestyle. Reduce.org… if not you, then who?

Wow Jace ! You look like a model. I’m sure whoever visits your website, you encouraged them to be one like you. I don’t have green bag but we have grocery basket. I’m gonna use it. It’s easy and comfortable for me…YEah ViVa La Revolution!

Hello Mama Don!
Feel pud kaayo nako nga model ko. hehehe! The photographer told me, have you been doing this (posing) coz you’re so good at it.
Yesterday, when we went to Target, I brought with me my green bag and it sure works great!

hi sis,
wish i could have gone to the fair with you. glad you had a good time and hope your feet have recovered. as far as not
using plastic or paper from the grocery store, for me they work better. especially when i take my little cart and walk for groceries. the paper bags stand up better whereas the plastic ones fall over and spill my stuff. and when i have a ride the plastic works because i use them for
garbage bags. i have seen those bags in the store and they are not expensive but i wouldn’t be able to fit squat in one of those things.

hello sis!
we had a blast. our calves still hurt but it’s worth it.
i am starting this “green” cloth bag since I get to reuse them anytime.

hey sis,
i have thought of getting those
bags at the store, the cloth green ones, some are blue. i would just have to
put less in them. or buy more of them.
