your footprints…
A Tribute to the soul of COSAP…
Saying goodbye to someone who has made such a huge impact in our lives is difficult. But if we look back on the good things he has done and the best times we spent together, the pain could not compensate the degree of happiness we felt… that for once in our lives, our paths crossed and he has definitely left footprints in our hearts.
Tito Oskie (Mabilog), you will always be remembered and your memories will always stay. You are like a father to me and because of you, I met a lot of people that I call friends. When I look back to what I was and what I have become, it is you and your encouragement that shines through those times. You have molded me into a better person. You inspire me not to be selfish but to give myself to others. You and your words, thoughts, actions and yes your memories will always make a difference… in my life and in the lives of the other people. Paalam, Tito Oskie!
*Oscar C. Mabilog… a Rotarian and the head of the Cebu City Office for Substance Abuse Prevention (COSAP). “Cosap, under Mabilog, was synonymous with aggressive anti-drug campaign. Mabilog combined media savvy to raise people’s awareness of the problem with the implementation of noteworthy projects. That made Cosap a leader in the local campaign against drug abuse and Mabilog one of its leading advocates and news sources. “
*the background song is by Steve Green entitled “Find Us Faithful” is the theme of every training that we conducted with Tito Oskie.
