A Gift of Hope

December8

We were in shock when we learned about the condition of Francis Magalona.  The Philippine Master Rapper was diagnosed with Leukemia or cancer of the blood last August.  Who would expect that he will be struck with such a disease?  No one did and any one could get it.

On a lighter note, technology and researches has lead us to some scientific breakthough.  Cryo-Cell has reported that the use of cord blood stem cells has become an accepted clinical therapy for the treatment of leukemia and lymphomas and other diseases.  These vital stem cells are collected from a baby’s cord blood.  With this development, we now know that it is essential for us to preserve a stem cell cord blood.  These stem cells that are found in the cord blood are known to treat over 75 diseases not only Leukemia but also anemia, lymphoma, diabetes and even cerebral palsy.  This preservation would come in handy in the future.

This Holiday Season, an ideal gift for family and friends who are expecting a child would be a gift card for vital stem cell preservation.  At the Gifting Page you will also find that C’elle® is a wonderful gift for women who are not pregnant.  C’elle®’s groundbreaking technology allows to collect and cryopreserve the women’s stem cells for potential theraphies that may emerge in the future.
