A Timepiece

February27

A TimepieceI got my first timepiece during my recognition day after finishing 2nd Grade as the 1st Honor of the class.  It was a black Benetton watch with colorful numbers on it.  It was given by my Manoy Brandit.  It was very special.  I could not remember what happened to it though.

When I grew older, I continue to fancy watches but could not afford it.  I was able to own a Timex watch because someone pawned it to me for a small amount of cash.  It was a big deal for me.  I thought that the brand is one of the most expensive watches.  It was not until I got here that I realized, there are watches that are even 10x more expensive than that.  There’s Movado and Torgoen watches to name a few.

Timepieces are ideally used to tell time.  But now it has beecome a piece of jewelry.  Many craftsmen express their talents in making elegant and attractive concepts of watches.  What is your favorite timepiece?

I would love to have a “tag huer” but it’s too expensive, so for now I settle with my DKNY and Fossil. I really think watches it’s just a piece of jewellery nowadays, if I need to know what the current time I often just reach out wih my mobile phone as I keep forgetting to wear watch eveyr now and then.

I used to collect watches but I got tired of it and buried them in a box.

You should ask somebody in the family to start questing for your black Benetton. Your mom might know where the watch is hiding ;-)

i’m pretty sure my Nanay doesn’t have any idea bout that old watch i got. she’s not the type that stashes our things in safety. she taught us responsibility in all our belongings and not depend on someone to take care of it.
