When we were young, we always have our favorite toy. Even with a number of toys that you receive from your parents, siblings or sometimes friends, there’s a particular toy that would stand out among the others. My favorite toy is Teddy Bungi. He is a lavender teddy bear with white paws and snout. I didn’t have that much toys when I was a kid so I definitely value the ones that I have.
If the time comes that I’ll be gifted with kids, I’d definitely be buying him or her with the gifts that I wish I had when I was younger. Be it a baby doll, stuffed animals or kids wagons, they will get it from their me.
What was your favorite toy when you were a kid?

I loved my baby dolls. No matter how many I had, I loved all of them.
i never had a baby doll. that’s why i’d like to get one someday for myself or for my baby girls if i have any.
I dont have any Barbie dolls. Our neighbor does. When she wants to play, she always go to our house.
My favorite toys are marbles (jolens), rubber band and POG from Coke.
My sister got an ugly doll that open and close her eyes but it didnt last and went bald. She have a plastic teacups and saucers too
I don’t have much toys in my childhood years. There’s only one I remember, palayok-palayukan. We’re more on street games during my time like patintero, taguan, piko, and the likes.
I can’t see those games anymore. What the kids have now are all computer games which I think are not so helpful to the kids, health wise.
Btw,I didn’t notice you’re not linked in my 2nd blog. I’ve added you up now. Ingat ka lagi, Jace!
i was more of an outdoor person too Tita Beng. And those games you’ve mentioned, i’ve played it a lot of times. Nothing beats those games. And i agree with you that kids these days needs to go outdoors and do physical games rather than get consumed by the computer games.
I don’t have toys or dolls when i was little. I like playing boys stuff toys like my brother’s marbles
i used to have a collection of marbles too!
I got only one doll which I loved so much. that’s the only one my parents can afford. But I played “taksi”, “talupi” and tago tago with our neighbors..hehehe
my tatay would not allow us to play “taksi” or anything that involves money. but the “taksi” that involves those cigarette wrappers are okay. ate eden, what’s “talupi”?
I added you na, thanks for the response.Have a nice day!
may you have a great day as well. i’ll be lurking on your site, Willa. take care!
I had live dolls when I was a kid. I bathed them, fed them and played with them. They were cuddly and loveable (and annoying sometimes). ah my live dolls are all grown up now.
i bet those live dolls are a handful especially when you had them when you were a kid. hehehe!
I had some bb guns when I was a kid since I was surrounding by mostly boys, big bro and cuzins,i had also a doll,i remember it was huge and will talk and walk, given by my uncle from here, pero guhubag hubagan ko kay mahadlok man ko ug dolls Jacsy, ambut ngano, even now hadlok ko especially nite time.
My favorite was my palayok kay makaluto mi with my big bro…ahhh those were the days Jacsy..=)
i like dolls but i don’t fancy those barbie doll kind. but trust me, i also get scared of those collection dolls. last christmas eve, we sleep in TS’ cousin’s bedroom and she has dolls all over the place. i could not sleep well thinking that those dolls are watching me and might come alive in the middle of the night.
was surrounded* sus ginoo ning kamot nako maghimo man jud ug iyang own sentence oi..have a great day Jacs…
