Game Over!

Last Sunday’s game concluded our NFL participation for this season. After winning the 2008 NFC North Division Championships, the Minnesota Vikings took a bow and made their final exit this season after losing against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Personally, I was not impressed with how the Vikings played on that game. They were in the game on the first two quarters. Come second half, you’d think they have the momentum but they could just not score at all. Tarvaris Jackson could not settle into a rhythm and finished the day with 15 of 35 for 164 yards, zero touchdowns and one interception. The Vikings did not sustain a drive that was longer than 32 yards. On the second half, the Vikings drive includes: punt, punt, punt, punt, punt, fumble, game over!
It wasn’t a bad season for the Vikings but it wasn’t great either. They made it to the playoff this season following their playoff participation last 2001 which was a long time ago. The players and the staff did the fans did theirs by not only buying tickets, being a destructive noisy crowd to create an opponent’s fumble, and by supporting the Vikings buying gears, merchandise and other sports gifts.
I still have 1 more game to look forward to – the ProBowl. Six of the Vikings players which includes my favorite defensive player – #69 Jared Allen. Of course, Adrian Peterson will be there along with the William Walls and Antoine Winfield. After this game in Hawaii, I will be waiting for the 2009 season and see what lies ahead of my Vikings.

Oh my…you talk sporty gal, wow! I’m impressed..funt…funt…funt…fumble…
Really, football? Hands down ako diyan!
I have always been a sport-minded person, Jo. I usually play most games but I’m not the best on each of them. Like they say, Jack of all trades, Ace of none. That’s me!
I started loving football since I got here in the US. Since then, I no longer watch other sports than NFL.
My team didn’t make it as far as yours. But the Pat’s had a better record them all of the wild-card teams. Shouldn’t the teams with the best records make the playoffs? I know…I know…
Awesome site!!!
