Save Green, Go Green!

October3

Okay, I admit. I have been staring outside the patio from my living room since I got here. I could never get tired of admiring the calmness of the lake and the tiny stretch of an island which reminds me of my childhood when an island is a familiar sight every time my family would go boating towards the Kawit Island which by present is a part of the mainland-Cebu.

I love the nature and if there’s anything I can do to save it, I will do it. On the other hand, I value technology a lot and this move has made me realize that I do need the internet and not just any internet, but a fast and reliable internet service. Since we moved here 3 days ago, I was reliant to my blackberry service for internet. I had my phone work as a modem and get internet service. I can’t complain… it has given me internet service when I need it and where I need it. However, it has failed me today. For some reasons, I am not able to connect to the internet. The blackberry service could be down for all I know. So I decided to check on open wireless service and luckily I got one. To my dismay, it keeps disconnecting again and again and again.

That’s it! Travis and I searched for good deals on reliable internet service. I recalled coming across Charter Communications and even blogging about it. So, I checked on their website and found out that not only they have great deals and savings for bundle services of TV, Internet and Phone, you get the chance to win the environment-friendly 2009 Civic Hybrid.  The good thing is, there is no purchase necessary to be able to join the sweepstakes.   Simply visit the site and register for you to get the chance to win.  Saving on television, internet and phone service… and you might get the chance to win a car that will help you save a lot on gas and save the planet earth.

We will be getting internet service on Monday and I can’t wait to finally get back on track with my blogging and other extra-curricular activities online.  Travis and I are doing the best we can to save green as there is mor things to buy that goes with having a place of our own.  And one way is to get good savings on reliable internet service or cable and phone from Charter Communications.

i can’t wait for your to visit us here mami. the best time though is summer. although we only have a 1 bedroom unit.

1 step at a time lang sa mami. for now, focus your attention on your wedding next year. after that, then you can start thinking about your own house. ni distractions lang sa ha… focus!
