Typing Handsfree, A Challenge?

typingchallenge 300x267 Typing Handsfree, A Challenge?A blogger like myself spends enough time to compose a post, edit and publish them before we can sit back, relax and enjoy the rest of our day.  Typing alone is a tedious task.  Although I consider myself an intermediate typist which is a skill I got from my Tatay, I still wish there would be something that would improve not only my speed in typing but also my accuracy.  If you can type fast, you save more time.  The amount of time you save you can spend it to do other things that you enjoy doing.  So, I invested my time on training myself by using online typing exercises.  Although it has helped me improve my typing skills, it was still not enough.

Then I came across a challenge- Dragon’s typing speed test! I was challenged to type the words that would flash on the screen while my challenger types the same words but handsfree.  I accepted the challenge since I am confident with my typing skills.  I was filled with awe when the challenge was over.   Typing Handsfree, A Challenge?I did very well in it in fact better than my usual but still the challenger who uses Dragon Naturally Speaking has beaten me 144% times faster than my speed.

I came to ponder if I would be able to type as fast as that, I would have the luxury of time to spend with my other hobbies, finish reading the book that I have started, cooking sumptous meals from scratch, spending time to talk to my family and most of all, share my time with Travis either watching our favorite tv series or simply helping each other beat the crap out of Zombies with our online character in Ragnarok and enjoying each others company outdoors.  I may ran out of things to do but I will not run out of time if I save that much.  With it, I can definitely have a life outside the cyber world.

So I came to a consideration of buying a PC Version of Dragon Naturally Speaking but before I do so, I will have to make sure that my expectations will be met.  I made a few diggings and run across very good Dragon Reviews. It was even featured on New York Times and seen on CNBC.  After seeing positive reviews from this revolutionary software, I am convinced.  I will get one because nothing is more valuable than time and spending it wisely with yourself, family and friends than just wasting it on typing.  This is indeed a blessing to bloggers like me!

And before I leave, here are videos to show you how great this software and you can start imagining how to spend the time you save from typing.

it’s really an advantage if you type with the right finger placement on the right keys coz it will increase your speed and accuracy.

but for us bloggers who uses typing as part of our lifestyle, our fingers needs to rest too, di ba Haze? sometimes, i would feel my fingers get sore.

our muscles get strained so we need to give them rest. this reminds me of the post you have made about that product that will help you avoid putting so much stress on your hand.
