Water Emergency?
It has been a month since the hurricane season has started. Tropical storms had paid their visits and they bring along with them water damage. Broken pipelines or a leaking faucet contributes to this problem that doesn’t even wait for seasons but can happen anytime. Knowing that we have some people to rely on if we are faced with this problem, we can definitely live a carefree life, don’t you think?

If Fay had turned into a hurricane I am sure we would need that assistance here in Florida. Thank God we were spared….although it’s too early to rejoice. One storm down, some more to go til this hurricane season ends.

we don’t have hurricanes where i live. we have tornadoes instead. not sure which does the most damage. depends on the category of the storm. if it’s bad it’s bad period.

i agree with you sis. luckily, i haven’t experienced tornadoes yet. when i first heard the tornado siren during monthly test, i was scared to death. but i have adjusted to it now.

hey sis,
in 1980 i lived in kalamazoo michigan
and i was waiting for a bus downtown when the tornado went through. it picked me up off my feet and threw me over on the sidewalk. i was blood and cuts from head to toe even though i was laying on my stomach and covering my head wtih my hands and arms. the test thingy makes me nervous, let alone an actual tornado watch. when there’s a warning i get very shaky and very scared. it’s only in the past year that i’ve gotten used to thunder storms. and those
still make me very nervous.

lots of hugz for you sweey.
as for the tornado, i adjusted long
ago. it’s only storms that make me
nervous lol. but now i’ve gotten to
the point where the small ones don’t
bother me so much. i used to cry
at the looks of a gray sky.

that’s good to hear sis. on the contrary, i like rains and a little bit of thunderstorms for the reason that it reminds me of my childhood when we usually make a house out of our sheets. it just brings back good memories.
it was raining earlier today here and i had my windows open to admire the raindrops against the glass pane.
