Spending Holiday

November24

timesquare Spending HolidayThe Holiday Season is a late-year season that surrounds the Christmas holiday as well as other holidays on the November/December timeframe. Traditionally, the Holiday season includes Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.  However, it has now extended to the later part of Autumn with Thanksgiving commencing it.  It is this season that we tend go back to our roots and be reunited with our family and its tradition.

During New Year, it is a tradition to trun our attention to the world countdown which is held in a dazzling place filled with digital signage, billboards, lights and bustling energy – Time Square.  Some would in fact go there to witness the event live.  With star-studded musical performances, balloons, pom-poms, confetti, a colorful pyrotechnic display and the warm company of close friends, it’s a different way to celebrate New Year in New York.

Whether you are going to New York or staying at home with your family, the Holiday Season is the season of traditions and sharing the happiness with our loved ones.  Happy Holidays!

I am looking forward to celebrate Christmas Day or New Year’s Day in New York Jacs. I just want to see how’s NY during that time as I only see them on TV.

It would be fun to experience it personally not by just watching it. I wish I could convince Winn to do that but he doesn’t like driving to big cities or simply, he hates the big city

I think New Year is the best time to go to New York, Haze. I’d like to do that too. Siguro when we get rich and famous (maybe not famous) we can just fly there by ourselves without our bana-nas. hehehe!

I agree Jacs… kuyog-baboy man jud ni si Winn oi hehehe He said, he might go to NY on a tour bus something… We were looking for a bus who will be our guide touring the big city of DC and NY.

We don’t mind being with other people as long as it will cost us cheaper and we will enjoy the sight-seeing.

you’re right, wen. it is the presence of our family that makes it important. in my case, i will be spending it with Travis’ side of the family. so this Thanksgiving, it’s already the Christmas get-together of my side of the family.

    happy holidays, Weng!

it’s a holiday Mina which is usually practiced in the UK, Australia, Canada and New Zealand. It is based on the tradition of giving gifts to the less fortunate or those who are at a lower social class.
