Halloween may be a booming holiday for those who like the scare factor, but fall is also a great time for children and adult alike to celebrate the harvest season. And Lebanon, Ohio, is just hte place to party.
Those who visit the Lebanon Mason Monroe Railroad any Saturday or Sunday from September 27 to November 2 can ride the Pumpkin Patch Express. Passengers will ride the restored train to Shappacher Farm to pet farm animals, explore the corn maze and, of course, pick a pumpkin. Advance tickets are recommended, so contact www.lebanonrr.com.

to bad this pumpkin express is not here mita. children love holloween, specially the coming trick or treat as its like the time they can really gorge on sweets with permission from parents.
I also wished we have that Pumpkin Express here coz I would be one of those who will take the ride. I remember last year, I prepared lots of candies but no one came to our door. =(
i just wonder if mom and dad were familiar of the event in ohio, coz they just got back from there.
You should ask them Manang Ror. but i’m sure they are familiar with the Mason Monroe Railrod and they may have rode on it already.
that would be great for the kids. here in australia, halloween celebration is not as popular like in the US although some kids enjoy the “trick or treating”. I just normally buy chocolates for my kids and for the kids who drop by at our place and ask for treats.
i really find it interesting for kids and even for myself ate Eden. mao ba? it is not as popular here? karon pa jud ko.
chocolates! yum! i bet it’s not only for kids coz you will be indulging in it too. you have the sweet tooth pud raba like me.
I’m going to fill my candy jar for the up coming holloween trick or treats. Kids from the neighborhood might drop by.
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!
same here Ma! I will be buying more candies this year coz we have kids in the complex for sure they are going to have trick or treat. if not, i’ll take care of the chocolates myself. hehehe!
good afternoon sis.
hope today is better than yesterday
big hugz
thanks for the visit sis. yesterday wasn’t bad. and today isn’t bad either.
i was reading your note yesterday
that you woke up late and you weren’t
feeling well. there seems to be a lot
of sick people right now. i stay home
a lot so hopefully that will keep me healthy.
love and hugz
i think it’s because of the cold weather sis. i have seen flu shots available in the stores. TS and I are taking multivitamins since this month so we won’t get sick.
i hope you will have a good weekend.
I have never been to Ohio Jacs, it would be fun to experience that pumpkin ride since I am a kid at heart hehehe
same here Haze. i’m a kid at heart too. and i’ve never been to Ohio yet. dungan nalang nya ta adto.
that would be a lot of fun if dungan ta Jacs hehehe I am sure mag enjoy jud ko sa company nimu hehehe
for now, it will just be a plan. coz me and Travis are holding on to our budget. but i’d like to really go with you.
I’ve always been fascinated with Halloween celebration; children dressing up in supposed scary outfits and asking for treats. It seemed fun and the children looks very cute. But as what Eden said it’s not a popular thing here in Oz.
lagi Herms no? they’d look really cute trying to look scary. that’s funny! when you come over at this time of the year, i think you will enjoy it!
Halloween isn’t all about spooky stuff, it also is a time of enjoyment for children wearing those cute costumes and the treats they’re gonna get on those trick and treats. The latter is getting popular here in the Phils. especially in malls.
Hope you have a wonderful day, Jacy!
eventually tita, such practice will become part of our culture and it will be embraced like our own.
hope you had a good weekend there, tita Beng!
Gosh, my kids would LOVE that!
Luckily my daughter (5) wants to be the same thing this year.
hi Lu!
are you taking them to the pumpkin patch express this year? not a doubt they will enjoy this.
hope you are having a good weekend!
